Being of a kindly nature he picked the man up and searched in his clothing for some form of identification. Having found his driving licence and knowing that his home was a short walk away the man proceeded with some difficulty to help the drunk home. The man was so drunk that he found walking impossible, after an hours struggle to walk half a mile the man arrived with the drunk in tow at his address. He knocked at the door and after a short time an elderly lady opened the door.

“I found this man in the street, and brought him home” the man said.

“Oh thank you so much, he does get drunk” the women replied.

“Well thank you, could you carry him into the lounge?” the women asked.

Feeling very proud of his efforts the man said goodbye to the old lady and turned to the door to leave….

The old lady grabbed his hand, smiled and said;

“Thanks so much… Did you bring his wheelchair?”
